  1. Maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling any discrepancies.
  2. Monitor and track inventory movements, including receiving, shipping, and transfers.
  3. Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
  4. Collaborate with warehouse and purchasing departments to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
  5. Utilize inventory management software and systems to track inventory levels and generate reports.
  6. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory control procedures and protocols.
  7. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with inventory control processes.
  8. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  9. Make recommendations for improving inventory processes and procedures.
  10. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in inventory control.
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  13. Adhere to all safety and security protocols in the warehouse.
  14. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  15. Take on additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Inventory Control Associate At Sysco Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Perform Tasks Such As Data Entry And Basic Math Calculations.

  • Previous Experience In Inventory Management: Candidates With Prior Experience In Inventory Management Would Be Preferred For This Position.
