- Receive and inspect all incoming product to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Accurately record and document all received product according to company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, warehouse team, and other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues with received product.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area to ensure efficient and safe processing of incoming product.
- Collaborate with purchasing and inventory control teams to track and manage product shortages or damages.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move and store incoming product as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while handling and storing product.
- Follow company guidelines for proper storage, rotation, and handling of perishable items.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Continuously strive to improve receiving processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Train and mentor new team members on receiving processes and procedures.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse environment.
- Take ownership of receiving tasks and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the overall success of the company.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
Strong Organizational Skills: As An Inbound Receiver, You Will Be Responsible For Receiving And Organizing Large Quantities Of Goods And Supplies. Therefore, Having Excellent Organizational Skills Is Crucial To Ensure Efficient And Accurate Inventory Management.
