- Receive and inspect incoming products from suppliers to verify accuracy and quality.
- Ensure all products are properly labeled and documented according to company standards.
- Use computer systems to record and track received products and update inventory.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues with received products to the appropriate parties.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to ensure efficient and organized receiving process.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while handling and storing products.
- Assist with unloading and organizing shipments, as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient working environment.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to food safety and sanitation.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to continually improve job knowledge and performance.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by the company.

- Report any maintenance or equipment issues to management.
- Adhere to all company rules and regulations regarding punctuality and attendance.

Strong Organizational Skills: Inbound Receivers At Sysco Must Be Highly Organized And Able To Manage Incoming Shipments Efficiently. This Includes Accurately Tracking Inventory, Maintaining Proper Storage And Rotation Procedures, And Ensuring Timely Delivery To The Correct Departments.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations: Inbound Receivers Should Have A Working Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations, Including Receiving, Storage, And Shipping Procedures. They Should Also Be Familiar With Safety Regulations And Best Practices For Inventory Management.
Attention To Detail: Inbound Receivers Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail In Order To Accurately Process Incoming Shipments And Ensure That All Products Are Accounted For And Properly Stored. This Includes Checking For Damaged Or Incorrect Items, As Well As Verifying Quantities And Expiration Dates.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires The Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, As Well As Stand And Walk For Extended Periods Of Time. Inbound Receivers Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Communication Skills: Inbound Receivers Must Have Strong Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Collaborate With Other Team Members And Coordinate With Vendors And Suppliers. They Should Also Be Able To Document And Report Any Issues Or Discrepancies With Incoming Shipments.
