Forklift Operator

Sysco is excited to invite you to join our team as a Forklift Operator. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about safety and quality. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, accuracy and productivity.To be successful in this role, you must have a valid forklift operator certification and a proven track record of operating a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. You should also possess the ability to multitask, problem solve, and work with minimal supervision. Additionally, strong organizational and communication skills are essential to this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to all safety protocols.
2. Ensure the efficient flow of goods into and out of the warehouse.
3. Maintain accurate records of goods coming into and out of the warehouse.
4. Troubleshoot any issues with the forklift and other warehouse equipment.
5. Monitor stock levels and ensure that all goods are properly stored and accounted for.
6. Load and unload materials onto and off pallets and shelves.
7. Follow all instructions from supervisors and other staff members.
8. Inform supervisors of any potential safety or quality concerns.
9. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
10. Work with minimal supervision and maintain a positive attitude.
