Job Description

Sysco is looking for a safety-minded and reliable Forklift Operator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and be able to accurately move and store materials and products. We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and take direction from supervisors. To be successful in this role, you must have at least 1-2 years of experience as a Forklift Operator, a valid Forklift Operator Certificate, and a proven track record of safety and accuracy. If you have a passion for making sure each product is stored safely and correctly, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company safety standards
  2. Load and unload products and materials onto and off of the forklift
  3. Move and store materials and products in an organized and accurate manner
  4. Follow instructions and directions from supervisors
  5. Perform daily safety checks on the forklift
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work area
  7. Report any safety issues or incidents immediately
  8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding safety
