- Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to improve and optimize operations processes at Sysco
- Oversee and manage all aspects of operations, including procurement, inventory management, production, and distribution
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies and procedures
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the operations team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales and marketing, to align operations with business goals and objectives
- Manage and mentor a team of operations managers and supervisors, providing guidance and support to drive performance and development
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of products
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining high quality standards
- Monitor industry trends and developments to stay updated on best practices and advancements in operations management
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on operations performance, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Business Administration, Operations Management, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Within A Fast-Paced, Large-Scale Operations Environment.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Optimizing Operational Processes And Procedures.
Strong Financial Acumen And Experience With Budgeting, Forecasting, And Cost Analysis.
Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Lead And Motivate A Diverse Team.
