1. Accurately and efficiently process cash and credit card payments from customers.
2. Monitor and reconcile daily payment transactions to ensure accuracy.
3. Follow company policies and procedures for processing payments and resolving discrepancies.
4. Provide exceptional customer service to clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving any payment-related issues.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as Accounts Receivable and Sales, to resolve any payment discrepancies.
6. Maintain accurate and organized records of all payment transactions.
7. Communicate effectively and professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
8. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline payment processing and increase efficiency.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to cash applications.
10. Adhere to strict deadlines and meet or exceed productivity goals.
11. Work independently and as part of a team to achieve departmental and company goals.
12. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
13. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes as needed.
14. Provide support to other departments as needed.
