At Synovus, we're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-centric Universal Banker to join our team! As a Universal Banker, you'll be the face of the bank, providing excellent customer service and helping our customers with their day-to-day banking needs. The ideal candidate is someone who is customer-focused, has a passion for helping people, and is highly organized and detail-oriented.To be successful in this role, you must have at least two years of banking experience, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to build relationships with customers. Additionally, you should have strong computer skills, the ability to multitask and handle several tasks at once, and a professional attitude. Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all customers, both in person and over the phone
- Identify customer needs and provide solutions to help meet their banking goals
- Assist customers with day-to-day banking needs, such as opening accounts, transferring funds, and more
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately
- Maintain a professional attitude and a high level of customer service at all times
- Develop relationships with customers to build customer loyalty
- Stay up to date with banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Monitor customer accounts for suspicious activity and report any potential fraud
- Proactively recommend banking products and services that would benefit customers
