
Construction & Facilities Manager
Oversees and manages construction projects making decisions and solving problems that may arise on the project. Analyzes and evaluates information to determine the best solution to solve issues that arise. Organizes, plans and prioritize construction projects. Develops specific plans and goals to organize and accomplish the best possible project outcome. Works with contractors to plan and meet the needs of the company. Works with architects to develop space plans and construction documents ensuring compliance with company standards. Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
Five years of experience in the development, implementation and guidance of construction projects
Familiarity with project and department budgeting
Knowledge of local and state building codes with a strong understanding of commercial construction and associated materials
