We are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Manager to join our team at Swiss Re. In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit risk, evaluating creditworthiness, and developing risk management strategies. You'll work with our global teams to ensure that our credit risk management strategies are consistent and up-to-date with industry standards.To be successful in this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. You should also have at least 5 years of experience in a credit risk management role. Additionally, you should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to think strategically. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively.If you're passionate about credit risk management and have the skills necessary to help us manage our credit risk, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective credit risk management strategies to protect the company’s financial interests.
- Monitor credit risk exposures and develop methods to mitigate potential losses.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of potential customers and assess the risk of extending them credit.
- Monitor regulatory developments and changes in industry standards and make necessary adjustments to credit risk management policies.
- Prepare credit risk reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external partners and other departments.
- Coordinate with global teams to ensure credit risk management strategies are consistent and up-to-date.
- Review credit applications and make recommendations for approval.
- Monitor and review customer accounts for potential risks.
- Identify and investigate potential cases of fraud or other irregularities.
