- Greet and welcome patients, families, and visitors to the nursing unit in a friendly and professional manner.
- Coordinate and maintain patient appointments, including scheduling and rescheduling as needed.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
- Assist nursing staff with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, completing forms, and organizing patient charts.
- Ensure timely and accurate entry of patient data into electronic health records.
- Monitor and maintain unit inventory of office supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operation of the nursing unit.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures.
- Assist with discharge planning and coordinate follow-up appointments for patients.

Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
