- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards, including HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
Completion Of An Accredited Ultrasound Technician Program: Candidates Must Have Completed A Formal Education Program In Diagnostic Medical Sonography That Is Accredited By The Commission On Accreditation Of Allied Health Education Programs (Caahep).
Ardms Certification: The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms) Certification Is Preferred For Ultrasound Technicians At Sutter Health. This Certification Demonstrates Knowledge And Proficiency In The Field And Is Highly Valued By Employers.
Experience With A Variety Of Ultrasound Equipment: Applicants Should Have Experience Working With A Range Of Ultrasound Machines, Including Abdominal, Obstetric, Gynecological, Vascular, And Musculoskeletal Equipment.
Strong Patient Care Skills: Ultrasound Technicians At Sutter Health Will Be Working Closely With Patients And Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills. They Should Be Able To Explain Procedures, Answer Questions, And Make Patients Feel Comfortable.
