- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures.
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Set up and maintain sterile field during surgical procedures.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and provide necessary instruments and supplies.
- Handle and care for surgical specimens.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and supplies used.
- Monitor and maintain sterile technique throughout the surgical procedure.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Maintain proper inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and assist with any technical issues during procedures.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families during surgical procedures.
- Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills related to surgical procedures and technology.
- Participate in training and education programs for new staff members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines.

Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Surgical Technician In A Hospital Setting.
Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Certification From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).
Knowledge Of Surgical Procedures, Instrumentation, And Equipment.
Ability To Anticipate The Needs Of Surgeons And Other Team Members During Surgical Procedures.
Familiarity With Infection Control Measures And Proper Handling Of Sterile Instruments And Supplies.
