We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supervisor for our Outpatient Imaging department to join our team.Reporting to the Imaging Manager, the Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our outpatient imaging services, ensuring the highest level of quality and patient satisfaction.   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the outpatient imaging department to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  2. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations related to imaging services.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of imaging services.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
  5. Collaborate with the Imaging Manager to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
  6. Review and analyze departmental data and reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  7. Ensure a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and addressing any patient concerns or complaints.
  8. Develop and maintain positive relationships with healthcare providers and other stakeholders to promote the department and its services.
  9. Maintain inventory and ensure the availability of necessary supplies and equipment for imaging services.
  10. Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff members.
  11. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing education and training to ensure staff competency and compliance.
  12. Work closely with the Imaging Manager to develop and manage the department budget.
  13. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in imaging technology to ensure the department remains at the forefront of healthcare.
  14. Serve as a role model and mentor to staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health and promote a culture of excellence and compassion.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role In An Outpatient Imaging Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations, Policies, And Procedures Related To Outpatient Imaging Services.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Lead And Collaborate With A Diverse Team Of Imaging Staff.

  • Advanced Technical Knowledge And Proficiency In Imaging Modalities, Such As Mri, Ct, X-Ray, And Ultrasound.
