  1. Lead and oversee a team of behavioral health professionals, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a safe and compassionate environment for both patients and staff.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create and maintain a comprehensive treatment plan for patients.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members, providing timely feedback and coaching to improve skills and achieve goals.
  5. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development by providing training opportunities and resources for staff.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and laws related to behavioral health services.
  7. Manage budget and resources effectively to achieve department goals and objectives.
  8. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to address any concerns or issues.
  9. Participate in the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding process for new team members.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in behavioral health to continuously improve services and care delivery.
  11. Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
  12. Serve as a role model for ethical and professional behavior, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  13. Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to coordinate resources and support for patients.
  14. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health and promote a patient-centered approach to care.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Psychology, Social Work, Or Counseling.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Role Within A Behavioral Health Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Treatment Modalities And Best Practices In Behavioral Health.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage And Support A Team.

  • Current Licensure Or Certification As A Mental Health Professional, Such As Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw) Or Licensed Marriage And Family Therapist (Lmft).
