  1. Perform decontamination, inspection, and assembly of medical instruments and equipment according to established procedures.
  2. Operate sterilization equipment and ensure proper sterilization of all instruments and equipment.
  3. Conduct routine maintenance and quality control checks on sterilization equipment.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all processed instruments and equipment.
  5. Ensure compliance with all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
  6. Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments and equipment.
  7. Identify and report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the appropriate personnel.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the sterile processing area.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for sterile processing.
  10. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality, patient rights, and safety.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician (Cspdt) Or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (Crcst) Credential From An Accredited Organization.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Sterile Processing Or Surgical Technology Role.

  • Knowledge Of Sterilization Methods, Principles Of Asepsis, And Infection Control Practices.

  • Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Familiarity With Surgical Instruments And Equipment.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Pressure Environment With Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
