- Provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns in the NICU.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, administer medications and treatments, and document patient progress.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
- Educate and support families on the care and needs of their newborns in the NICU.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring all equipment and supplies are in working order.
- Respond to emergencies and provide prompt and effective interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to ensure high-quality and compassionate care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and confidentiality.
- Participate in continuous education and training to maintain and improve nursing skills and knowledge.
- Serve as a role model and mentor to new and junior staff members in the NICU.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Display professionalism, empathy, and compassion towards patients, families, and colleagues at all times.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in neonatal care and incorporate best practices into daily nursing practice.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment to prevent the spread of infections.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Nicu)
Bls And Nrp Certifications
