  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the Surgical Care Unit.
  2. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  3. Utilize strong clinical judgement and critical thinking skills to assess and monitor patient's conditions and respond to any changes.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and follow-up instructions.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including nursing assessments and interventions.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.

  13. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
  14. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the Surgical Care Unit.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California

  • Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher

  • Bls And Acls Certifications From The American Heart Association

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Recent Clinical Experience In A Surgical Care Unit Setting

  • Experience With Electronic Medical Records (Emr) And Advanced Computer Skills
