Staff Nurse II, Intensive Care Unit

1. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
2. Utilize exceptional nursing skills and strong critical thinking abilities to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
3. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform other nursing procedures as needed.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and social workers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
5. Monitor and document patient progress, report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
6. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment plans, and provide emotional support.

13. Mentor and support new nurses and nursing assistants.
