- Provide exceptional patient care in the ICU department, following established protocols and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and support staff, to deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and overall well-being, and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Document patient care and progress accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and equipment, following infection control and safety guidelines.
- Prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced and high-stress environment, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Advocate for patients' rights and preferences, and address any concerns or complaints promptly and compassionately.
- Stay up-to-date on current nursing practices and advancements in critical care, and participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including ethical and legal standards, to maintain a safe and professional work environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) Licensure In The State Of California
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As An Rn In An Intensive Care Unit (Icu)
