  1. Provide exceptional patient care by utilizing advanced nursing skills and knowledge.
  2. Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective surgical procedures.
  3. Follow established protocols and standards of care to maintain patient safety and promote positive outcomes.
  4. Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after surgery, and communicate any changes or concerns to the surgical team.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  6. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care, including pre-operative and post-operative assessments.
  7. Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate potential complications and take appropriate action.
  8. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring patient needs and preferences are addressed.
  9. Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare providers to ensure a smooth flow of the surgical process.
  10. Maintain a clean and safe surgical environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures.
  11. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current knowledge and skills.
  12. Mentor and assist new staff members in the perioperative setting.
  13. Promote a culture of safety and quality improvement within the surgical department.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of patients and their families.
  15. Comply with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn Licensure: The Candidate Must Possess An Active And Valid Rn License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing.

  • Minimum Education And Experience: A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required, Along With A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience In A Surgical Setting.

  • Clinical Competency: The Candidate Must Have A Strong Clinical Background And Be Proficient In Handling Complex Surgical Procedures, Including Monitoring Patients' Vital Signs And Managing Potential Complications.

  • Knowledge Of Surgical Equipment And Technology: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Surgical Equipment And Technology, Including Anesthesia Machines, Monitoring Devices, And Surgical Instruments.

  • Team Player: The Candidate Must Be Able To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Including Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, And Other Or Staff, To Ensure The Best Patient Outcomes. Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
