  1. Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients and their families.
  2. Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  3. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and medication administration.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and medical records.
  7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and their families.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and members of the healthcare team.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on pediatric nursing best practices and advancements.
  11. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during difficult times.
  12. Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients.
  14. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
  15. Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.
  16. Continuously evaluate and improve nursing care processes and procedures.
  17. Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  18. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while providing compassionate and high-quality care.
  19. Act as a role model and mentor for other nursing staff.
  20. Comply with all Sutter Health policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution

  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of California

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Pediatric Setting

  • Bls And Pals Certifications From The American Heart Association

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment And With Pediatric Patients And Their Families.
