- Provide exceptional care to patients and their families in the Emergency Department.
- Assess and prioritize patient needs based on acuity and urgency.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols.
- Monitor and document patient responses to interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
- Continuously monitor and maintain the safety and comfort of patients.
- Stay up-to-date on current emergency care protocols and techniques.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

- Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.

Valid Rn License: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License From The State Of California.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Emergency Department Experience: Sutter Health Is Looking For Candidates Who Have Prior Experience Working In An Emergency Department Setting, Preferably With At Least 2 Years Of Experience.
Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Should Hold Current Certifications In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls).
Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills: The Role Of A Staff Nurse In The Emergency Department Requires Quick Decision-Making, Prioritization, And Problem-Solving Abilities. The Ideal Candidate Should Possess These Skills To Effectively Handle High-Stress Situations.
Excellent Communication And Teamwork Abilities: In A Fast-Paced Environment Such As The Emergency Department, Effective Communication And Teamwork Are Crucial. The Candidate Should Have Strong Interpersonal Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
