Job Description

As a Speech Pathologist II, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children in a dynamic and collaborative environment.   1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children's speech and language abilities.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans for children based on their specific needs and goals.
  3. Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to children, including individual and group sessions.
  4. Monitor and track progress of children throughout the course of therapy and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the child's healthcare team, including physicians, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  6. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on their child's progress and involve them in the therapy process.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
  8. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development opportunities to share knowledge and expertise.
  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in the field of speech pathology and implement them into practice.
  10. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job responsibilities.
  11. Serve as an advocate for children with speech and language disorders and provide resources and support for families.
  12. Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Child Development Center through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Or Related Field

  • Current License To Practice Speech-Language Pathology In The State Of California

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Children In A Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge And Experience With A Variety Of Communication Disorders And Treatment Techniques

  • Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Family-Centered Care For Children With Developmental Delays And Disabilities.
