
Speech Pathologist II-Child Development Center* (Per Diem)

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children's speech and language abilities.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for children based on their specific needs and goals.
- Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy services to children, including individual and group sessions.
- Monitor and track progress of children throughout the course of therapy and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other members of the child's healthcare team, including physicians, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on their child's progress and involve them in the therapy process.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of treatment sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development opportunities to share knowledge and expertise.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and techniques in the field of speech pathology and implement them into practice.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of job responsibilities.
- Serve as an advocate for children with speech and language disorders and provide resources and support for families.
- Contribute to the overall success and growth of the Child Development Center through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology Or Related Field
Current License To Practice Speech-Language Pathology In The State Of California
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Children In A Clinical Setting
Knowledge And Experience With A Variety Of Communication Disorders And Treatment Techniques
Ability To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Family-Centered Care For Children With Developmental Delays And Disabilities.
