  1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication abilities and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication needs.
  3. Provide therapy sessions to patients with head and neck conditions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and strategies.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
  5. Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  6. Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques to improve daily functioning.
  7. Stay current with advancements and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
  8. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  11. Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient progress and develop treatment plans.
  12. Advocate for patients and provide emotional support during their treatment journey.
  13. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  14. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  15. Display a high level of professionalism and empathy towards patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology: A Qualified Candidate Should Possess A Master's Degree In Speech-Language Pathology From An Accredited Institution.

  • State Licensure: The Candidate Should Hold A Valid State License In Speech-Language Pathology And Be Eligible For Licensure In California.

  • Asha Certification: The Candidate Should Hold A Certificate Of Clinical Competence (Ccc) From The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (Asha).

  • Experience In Head And Neck Rehabilitation: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Providing Speech And Language Therapy To Patients With Head And Neck Disorders.

  • Knowledge Of Current Techniques And Technology: The Candidate Should Have Knowledge And Experience In Using The Latest Techniques And Technology In Speech-Language Therapy, Specifically Related To Head And Neck Rehabilitation.
