- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Identify and document any abnormalities or changes in patient condition during procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic results.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology.
Completion Of An Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.
Current Certification As A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Rdms) From The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms).
Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Hospital.
