
Rehabilitation Aide III, Physical Therapy

- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing care to patients by following treatment plans and performing prescribed exercises.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients during their rehabilitation sessions.
- Monitor and record patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist.
- Help patients with mobility and other activities as needed, such as transferring to and from equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on patient progress and address any concerns.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating patient appointments.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and their families.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care.
- Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Follow all policies and procedures of Sutter Health.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to physical therapy and patient care.
Bachelor's Degree In Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience As A Rehabilitation Aide In A Physical Therapy Setting.
Certification As A Physical Therapy Aide Through A Recognized Organization (E.g. American Physical Therapy Association).
Knowledge Of Various Physical Therapy Techniques And Modalities, Including Experience With Therapeutic Exercises And Equipment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physical Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
