  1. Assist therapists in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing rehabilitation.
  2. Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients and their families.
  3. Help patients with mobility exercises and activities as directed by therapists.
  4. Monitor and record patient progress and report any changes or concerns to therapists.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
  6. Assist with patient transfers and positioning to ensure their safety and comfort.
  7. Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  8. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients, understanding the challenges they may face during their recovery.
  9. Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  10. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  12. Provide support and assistance to therapists as needed to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  13. Take initiative to identify and complete tasks to support the overall functioning of the rehabilitation department.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing Sutter Health's values and commitment to patient care.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth to enhance job performance.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Is Required For The Role Of Rehabilitation Aide At Sutter Health.

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Sutter Health Prefers Candidates Who Are Certified As A Nursing Assistant, As This Showcases A Strong Foundation In Healthcare And Patient Care Skills.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Candidates With Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Hospital Or Rehabilitation Facility, Will Be Given Preference For The Role Of Rehabilitation Aide.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Rehabilitation Aide, You Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are A Must.

  • Ability To Lift And Assist Patients: This Role Requires Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift And Assist Patients With Mobility And Daily Activities. Candidates Should Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
