As a Rehab Aide at Sutter Health, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced therapists and make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.   1. Assist therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy.
  2. Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and documenting progress notes.
  4. Prepare treatment areas and equipment for therapy sessions.
  5. Monitor and assist patients during therapy sessions, ensuring safety and comfort.
  6. Educate patients on proper techniques and exercises to aid in their rehabilitation.
  7. Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy areas and equipment.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
  9. Adhere to all healthcare and safety protocols and regulations.
  10. Continuously develop skills and knowledge through training and education opportunities.
  11. Provide outstanding customer service by welcoming and assisting patients and their families.
  12. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment for patients and colleagues.
  13. Uphold the mission and values of Sutter Health in all interactions and tasks.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Rehab Aide Job At Sutter Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And The Ability To Understand And Follow Instructions.

  • Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Prior Experience Working In A Healthcare Facility, Preferably In A Rehabilitation Department, Is Often Required For A Rehab Aide Job At Sutter Health. This Experience Will Provide The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Assist Therapists And Patients Effectively.

  • Cpr And First Aid Certification: A Valid Cpr And First Aid Certification Is Essential For A Rehab Aide Job At Sutter Health. It Ensures The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills To Respond To Emergency Situations And Provide Immediate Care If Needed.

  • Physical Ability: As A Rehab Aide, One Must Be Physically Fit And Able To Lift And Move Patients, Equipment, And Supplies. Sutter Health May Require A Candidate To Pass A Physical Exam To Ensure They Can Perform The Job Duties Safely And Effectively.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Rehab Aide Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Interact With Patients, Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Follow Verbal And Written Instructions, As Well As Effectively Communicate With Patients And Their Families.
