  1. Provide exceptional patient care: The Wound Care Nurse is responsible for utilizing their specialized wound care skills to provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in a home health setting.
  2. Conduct wound assessments and treatment: The Wound Care Nurse will perform thorough assessments of patients' wounds and develop evidence-based treatment plans to promote healing and prevent complications.

  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: The Wound Care Nurse will work closely with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  5. Educate patients and families: It is the responsibility of the Wound Care Nurse to educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques, prevention of infections, and signs of complications.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution: A Registered Nurse In Wound Care At Sutter Health Must Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From A Recognized University Or College. This Ensures That The Nurse Has A Solid Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice.

  • Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of California: Sutter Health Requires All Its Nurses To Have An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of California.   • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care: To Be Considered For A Wound Care Rn Position At Sutter Health, Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care.
