
Registered Nurse II, Women’s Health OBGYN Triage, Advice & Fetal Monitoring

To be successful in this role, you must have a current RN license, BLS certification, and a minimum of two years of experience in Labor and Delivery or Mother/Baby. - Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in OBGYN Triage, Advice, and Fetal Monitoring.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, recognizing and responding to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following proper protocols and procedures.
- Educate patients and their families on various aspects of women's health, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and protocols.
- Stay current on advancements and best practices in women's health nursing, and incorporate new knowledge into practice.
- Demonstrate professionalism and ethical behavior in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to Sutter Health's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of job performance.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Practice
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Women's Health Or Ob/Gyn Setting
Advanced Certification In Women's Health/Ob/Gyn Nursing (E.g. Rnc-Ob, Whnp-Bc)
Demonstrated Knowledge And Proficiency In Fetal Monitoring And Triage Protocols
