Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Nursing: Candidates For A Registered Nurse First Assistant (Rnfa) Position At Sutter Health Must Possess A Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Or Higher Degree From An Accredited Nursing Program.

  • Active Rn License: Applicants Must Hold A Current And Unrestricted Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing As An Rnfa.

  • Certification As An Rnfa: Sutter Health Requires Candidates To Hold A Certification As An Rnfa From A Recognized Organization Such As The Association Of Operating Room Nurses (Aorn).

  • Experience As An Rnfa: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of Two Years Of Experience Working As An Rnfa In A Hospital Setting Or Surgical Center.

  • Advanced Surgical Skills: Sutter Health Seeks Candidates With Advanced Surgical Skills, Including The Ability To Assist The Surgeon With Surgical Procedures, Perform Suturing, And Handle Surgical Instruments. Additional Experience With Robotic Surgery And Complex Procedures Is Preferred.
