
Registered Nurse, Diagnostic Imaging

- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs. This includes preparing the equipment, positioning patients, and monitoring vital signs during the procedure.
- Provide compassionate patient care: The RN will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to our patients. This includes explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring the patient's comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Administer medications and interventions: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for administering medications and interventions as ordered by the physician during diagnostic imaging procedures. This includes monitoring and documenting the patient's response to medications and addressing any adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team: The RN will work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including radiologists, technologists, and other nurses, to ensure a smooth and efficient imaging process. This includes communicating patient information, coordinating care, and providing support to team members.
- Maintain accurate records: It is the responsibility of the RN to accurately document all patient information, procedures, and medications administered during diagnostic imaging. This includes maintaining electronic health records and adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
- Follow safety protocols: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors. This includes proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials and adherence to infection control protocols.
- Continuously improve patient care: The RN will be expected to actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes. This includes identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices to improve the overall patient experience.
- Attend training and professional development: The Registered Nurse will be expected to attend training and professional development opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in diagnostic imaging and nursing practices. This will ensure the RN is able to provide the best possible care to our patients.

Active Rn License In The State Of California, With A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Diagnostic Imaging.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field, With Additional Certification In Diagnostic Imaging Techniques Such As Mri, Ct, Or Ultrasound.
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy, Physiology, And Medical Terminology, With The Ability To Accurately Interpret Diagnostic Images.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Team Members And Provide Patient Education.
Proficiency In Using Electronic Medical Record Systems And Diagnostic Imaging Software, With A Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Maintain Accurate Records.
