Our ideal candidate is a team player who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and possesses strong communication and critical thinking abilities.To be considered for this role, you must have a degree in Radiologic Technology and be licensed by the state. Additionally, we require at least one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).   1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols and standards.
  2. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, including proper positioning and use of protective equipment.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including all relevant information and images.
  4. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  5. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
  6. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, answering any questions and addressing concerns.
  8. Provide exceptional patient care and support, demonstrating compassion and empathy.
  9. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of radiology and implement new techniques and technologies as necessary.
  10. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, ensuring accuracy and quality of imaging procedures.
  11. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  12. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
  13. Attend continuing education and training programs to maintain licensure and certification.
  14. Represent Sutter Health in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or Related Field

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.

  • Current Certification With The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting

  • Knowledge Of Radiographic Equipment And Procedures, Including Digital Imaging And Pacs Systems
