1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
2. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
3. Ensure accurate positioning and proper technique to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
4. Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the radiologist.
5. Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including imaging results and any necessary documentation.
6. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
7. Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
8. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
9. Stay current on advancements and changes in the field of radiology through continuing education and training.
