To be successful in this role, you must have a current ARRT certification and at least 3 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.   1. Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Operate and maintain radiologic equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
  3. Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions for the best possible imaging results.
  4. Administer contrast media and other medications as directed by a physician.
  5. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions during and after procedures.
  6. Properly document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following infection control and safety policies.
  9. Continuously assess and improve upon imaging techniques for optimal patient outcomes.
  10. Provide patient education and support during procedures.
  11. Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in continuing education to maintain ARRT certification.
  12. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  13. Assist with the training and supervision of new radiologic technologists.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the department.
  15. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, colleagues, and physicians.
  16. Handle difficult and sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
  17. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  18. Attend staff meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and workflows.
  19. Be adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing healthcare environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Radiologic Technologist In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting.

  • Associate's Or Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology From An Accredited Program.

  • Valid Arrt (American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists) Certification.

  • Knowledge Of Current Radiation Safety Standards And Procedures.
