  1. Provide high-quality care to patients in the Cardiac Surgery department.
  2. Work collaboratively with a team of experienced cardiac surgeons.
  3. Perform diagnostic exams and procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  4. Assist in surgeries and provide post-operative care.
  5. Monitor and manage patient's progress and make appropriate treatment adjustments.
  6. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and procedures.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  8. Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of cardiac surgery.
  9. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to medical ethics and standards.
  10. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and assist in developing and implementing new protocols.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Demonstrate a strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  14. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  16. Adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Degree In Physician Assistant Studies: The Candidate Should Have Completed A Master’s Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Program.

  • Board Certification: The Candidate Should Be Board Certified By The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Experience In Cardiac Surgery: Previous Experience Working As A Physician Assistant In A Cardiac Surgery Setting Is Highly Preferred.

  • Strong Clinical Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Clinical Skills Including Performing Physical Exams, Interpreting Diagnostic Tests, And Developing Treatment Plans.

  • Communication And Teamwork: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills, As They Will Be Working Closely With Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
