  1. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with neurological conditions to determine their functional abilities and limitations.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings and patient goals.
  3. Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques to facilitate recovery and improve functional outcomes.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  5. Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and strategies for maintaining independence and improving quality of life.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  7. Stay current with advancements in the field of neurorehabilitation and incorporate new techniques and technologies into practice.
  8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  9. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
  10. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
  11. Provide supervision and mentorship to physical therapy assistants and students.
  12. Continuously strive for professional growth and development through continuing education and participation in professional organizations.
  13. Promote a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  14. Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards related to physical therapy practice.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional care and improving the lives of patients with neurological conditions.

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctor Of Physical Therapy (Dpt) Degree From An Accredited Program

  • Current State Licensure As A Physical Therapist

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working With Neurologic Patients In An Outpatient Setting

  • Advanced Certification In Neurologic Physical Therapy Through The American Board Of Physical Therapy Specialties (Abpts)

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Patients Of All Ages And Backgrounds.
