  1. Utilize advanced clinical knowledge and expertise to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with various mobility impairments, pain, and other conditions affecting their quality of life.
  2. Provide top-notch care by implementing evidence-based treatment techniques and utilizing the latest technology and equipment.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients.
  4. Educate and guide patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
  5. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards.
  7. Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of physical therapy, and incorporate new techniques and practices into patient care.
  8. Participate in departmental meetings, case conferences, and continuing education opportunities.
  9. Adhere to ethical and professional standards, as well as all relevant laws and regulations.
  10. Demonstrate a high level of empathy, compassion, and respect for patients and their families.
  11. Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment in compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members to promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
  13. Act as a mentor and resource for junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  14. Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services.
  15. Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Job Qualifications
  • Current State Licensure As A Physical Therapist

  • Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Hospital Or Outpatient Facility

  • Advanced Knowledge And Skills In Evaluating And Treating A Wide Range Of Musculoskeletal And Neurological Conditions

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, Including The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Effectively Communicate With Patients And Their Families.
