Job Description

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to children with various developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions. To excel in this position, you must possess a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, have a minimum of two years of experience in pediatric rehab, and hold a valid state license.   1. Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to pediatric patients with various developmental, neurological, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  3. Conduct thorough evaluations to assess each patient's specific needs and establish goals for treatment.
  4. Use evidence-based techniques and interventions to improve patients' strength, range of motion, coordination, and functional abilities.
  5. Utilize specialized equipment and modalities to enhance treatment outcomes and promote optimal development in children.
  6. Monitor and document patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and communicate with team members and parents/guardians regarding patient care.
  7. Adhere to all legal, ethical, and professional standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting patients' rights.
  8. Stay current on the latest research, technology, and best practices in pediatric rehab to continuously improve patient care.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance skills and maintain licensure.
  10. Serve as a mentor and resource for other team members, including new therapists and support staff.
  11. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following all infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to obtain authorization for services and ensure appropriate reimbursement.
  13. Adhere to Sutter Health's policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.
  14. Actively participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and other activities to promote teamwork and enhance patient care.
  15. Embrace the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health and promote a positive image of the organization in all interactions with patients, families, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Physical Therapy From An Accredited Program.

  • State Licensure As A Physical Therapist In California.
