- Develop and implement annual giving strategies to support Sutter Health's fundraising goals and mission.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, to secure annual gifts.
- Collaborate with the Annual Giving team to identify and prioritize potential donors and create personalized cultivation and solicitation plans.
- Serve as a key representative of Sutter Health's philanthropic efforts, effectively communicating the organization's mission and impact to potential donors.
- Conduct research on prospective donors and analyze giving trends to inform fundraising strategies.
- Manage a portfolio of donors, ensuring timely and personalized stewardship and recognition.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including program directors and other fundraising teams, to identify funding needs and opportunities for donors.
- Plan and execute fundraising events and campaigns to engage donors and increase giving.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the success of annual giving efforts and make adjustments as needed to achieve fundraising goals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records and reports, adhering to ethical and legal fundraising practices.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in annual giving and philanthropy, and share knowledge and insights with the team.
- Represent Sutter Health at community events and engage with community leaders to promote the organization's philanthropic efforts.
- Collaborate with the communication team to develop compelling fundraising materials and messaging that resonates with donors.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to Sutter Health's values and mission, and act as a positive ambassador for the organization.
- Continuously strive to improve and innovate annual giving strategies to maximize donor engagement and support for Sutter Health's mission.
Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Or Communications.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fundraising Or Development, With A Focus On Annual Giving.
Demonstrated Success In Developing And Implementing Annual Giving Strategies, Including Direct Mail, Online Giving, And Donor Stewardship.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With The Ability To Effectively Articulate The Mission And Impact Of The Organization To Diverse Audiences.
Strong Relationship-Building Skills With The Ability To Cultivate And Maintain Relationships With Donors, Volunteers, And Other Stakeholders.
