  1. Conduct thorough assessments of patient's pelvic floor issues and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific needs.
  2. Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions with patients to help them improve their pelvic floor function and reduce symptoms.
  3. Educate patients on proper techniques and exercises to improve their pelvic floor health and prevent future issues.
  4. Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and feedback.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current research and techniques related to pelvic floor physical therapy.
  8. Provide a supportive and compassionate environment for patients to feel comfortable and motivated during their therapy sessions.
  9. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  10. Adhere to ethical and professional standards set by the American Physical Therapy Association and Sutter Health.
  11. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services related to pelvic floor physical therapy.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve personal skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
  13. Advocate for the importance of pelvic floor health and raise awareness in the community.
  14. Uphold a positive and respectful attitude towards patients, colleagues, and the overall workplace environment.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Physical Therapy (Dpt) Or Master's Degree In Physical Therapy (Mpt) From An Accredited Institution.

  • Specialized Training Or Certification In Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, Such As Through The American Physical Therapy Association's Section On Women's Health.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction And Related Conditions.

  • Strong Understanding Of Anatomy And Physiology Of The Pelvic Floor, As Well As Common Treatment Techniques And Interventions.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport With Patients And Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
