- Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments of pediatric patients to identify and evaluate neurological and developmental disorders.
- Develop treatment plans and provide evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with a variety of cognitive, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and educators, to provide integrated and coordinated care for patients.
- Communicate assessment results, treatment plans, and progress updates to patients, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
- Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and advancements in the field of pediatric neuropsychology.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to discuss patient care and contribute to treatment planning.
- Provide consultation and education to caregivers and other professionals on strategies for supporting children with neurological and developmental disorders.
- Advocate for patients and their families to ensure access to appropriate resources and services.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulations related to patient care, privacy, and safety.
Doctoral Degree In Clinical Psychology Or Neuropsychology From An Accredited University.
Board Certification In Pediatric Neuropsychology From The American Board Of Professional Psychology.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Pediatric Neuropsychology Assessment And Treatment.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Developmental Disorders, Brain Injuries, And Other Neurological Conditions Affecting Children.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Collaborate With Healthcare Team, Patients, And Families.
