- Greet and welcome patients and their families to the Prenatal Diagnosis department with warmth and compassion.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments and update patient information in the electronic medical record system accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with patients and their families to provide necessary information and instructions for prenatal appointments and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure a smooth flow of patient care.
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for procedures and services.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations in handling patient information.
- Assist with billing and coding processes as needed.

Knowledge Of Prenatal Diagnosis: A Patient Services Representative For Prenatal Diagnosis At Sutter Health Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Prenatal Screening And Testing Procedures, Including Genetic Counseling And Ultrasound Imaging.
Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. The Ability To Convey Complex Medical Information In A Clear And Empathetic Manner Is Essential.
Experience In Healthcare Administration: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Administration Or Customer Service Role, Preferably In A Prenatal Or Obstetrics Setting. Familiarity With Electronic Medical Records And Insurance Verification Is Also Preferred.
