- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments.

- Assist with patient registration and check-in process, including verifying necessary documents and information.
- Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff, addressing any concerns or questions that may arise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Attend and actively participate in department meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
- Handle sensitive situations with tact and empathy, providing support and assistance to patients and their families.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes, recommending process improvements to enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the department.
- Support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health at all times.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Billing Processes.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Customer Service Or Healthcare Administrative Role, Preferably In A Plastic Surgery Or Reconstructive Surgery Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Staff Members In A Professional And Courteous Manner.
Proficiency In Computer Skills And Experience With Electronic Medical Records Systems.
Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Responsibilities In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
