  1. Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
  2. Schedule appointments and procedures for patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries, providing excellent customer service at all times.
  4. Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments.
  5. Maintain patient records and update information as needed.
  6. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and accurate communication with patients.
  7. Assist with patient registration and check-in process, including verifying necessary documents and information.
  8. Act as a liaison between patients and medical staff, addressing any concerns or questions that may arise.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked.
  10. Attend and actively participate in department meetings and training sessions.
  11. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  12. Handle sensitive situations with tact and empathy, providing support and assistance to patients and their families.
  13. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes, recommending process improvements to enhance patient experience.
  14. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the department.
  15. Support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Sutter Health at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Billing Processes.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Customer Service Or Healthcare Administrative Role, Preferably In A Plastic Surgery Or Reconstructive Surgery Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Staff Members In A Professional And Courteous Manner.

  • Proficiency In Computer Skills And Experience With Electronic Medical Records Systems.

  • Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Responsibilities In A Fast-Paced Environment, While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
