- Greet and welcome patients to Sutter Health with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Assist patients in scheduling appointments for physical therapy services.
- Verify patient insurance information and communicate any discrepancies or issues to appropriate parties.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of patient information and update as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and smooth patient flow.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, in regards to patient confidentiality and data protection.
- Maintain a clean and organized work space to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
- Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and implementing suggestions for improvement.
- Attend required trainings and meetings to stay updated on company policies, procedures, and any changes in the field.
- Adhere to strict time management practices in order to efficiently assist as many patients as possible.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the healthcare organization and its values, and represent them in a positive manner at all times.
- Provide support to other departments as needed, and maintain open communication to ensure a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Patient Services Representative In A Physical Therapy Or Healthcare Setting.
Proficient In Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Scheduling Appointments.
Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Interact With Patients, Staff, And Healthcare Providers In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.
Demonstrated Knowledge Of Medical Billing And Coding Procedures.
Ability To Multitask, Prioritize, And Handle High Volume Of Patient Inquiries, While Maintaining Accuracy And Attention To Detail.
