Job Description

If so, Sutter Health is looking for a dedicated Patient Services Representative II to join our Pediatrics team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional customer service to our young patients and their families while supporting the operations of our pediatric clinic.   1. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families by greeting them warmly, answering questions, and addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
  2. Support the operations of the pediatric clinic by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and maintaining accurate patient records.
  3. Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and medical staff, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
  4. Utilize strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and completing administrative duties.
  5. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards young patients and their families, creating a welcoming and comforting environment.
  6. Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and procedures to accurately assist with patient inquiries and concerns.
  7. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality guidelines to protect patient information.
  8. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  9. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance the patient experience.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
  11. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to provide the highest level of service to patients and families.

Job Qualifications
  • Ability To Multitask And Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment While Maintaining A High Level Of Accuracy And Attention To Detail.

  • Minimum 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Pediatrics.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Billing Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals.
