- Greet and welcome patients as they enter the General Surgery department, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, their families, and visitors, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Schedule appointments and procedures for patients according to department protocols.
- Collect and verify patient information, including insurance and billing details.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting payments and coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers.
- Communicate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, their families, and the healthcare team to ensure all needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
- Follow established protocols for handling confidential patient information and maintaining patient privacy.
- Ensure all necessary forms and documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
- Continuously monitor and improve patient satisfaction through feedback and suggestions.
- Attend departmental meetings and trainings to stay updated on policies, procedures, and new developments in the field.

Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In General Surgery Or A Related Specialty.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Insurance Billing.
Excellent Customer Service And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients And Medical Staff In A Professional And Compassionate Manner.
Strong Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Multitask And Prioritize Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
