- Greet and welcome patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and with empathy.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient calendars accurately and efficiently.
- Verify patient insurance information and assist with billing and payment processes.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
- Educate patients on available services and resources, and assist with navigating the healthcare system.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to accurately register patients and collect necessary information.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and other departments to facilitate effective communication and coordination of care.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the patient experience.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Customer Service Or Patient-Facing Role.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Providers, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Abilities, With The Ability To Handle Difficult Situations And Diffuse Tense Situations.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record Systems And Other Computer Software Programs Commonly Used In Healthcare Settings.
Knowledge Of Insurance And Billing Processes, Including Understanding Of Different Insurance Plans And Coverage Levels, As Well As Ability To Accurately Collect And Enter Patient Information For Billing Purposes.
