- Greet and welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate and organized appointment records.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary co-payments and fees.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient delivery of care.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Coordinate referrals and authorizations for patient procedures and treatments.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of dermatology procedures, treatments, and services to accurately answer patient questions.
- Manage patient charts and medical records in a confidential and organized manner.
- Assist with billing and coding processes to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and welcoming experience for patients.
- Attend training and informational sessions to stay updated on changes in policies and procedures.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service at all times.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Dermatology Or A Related Field.
Extensive Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Experience With Electronic Medical Records Systems.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, With A Strong Emphasis On Customer Service.
Ability To Multitask And Handle A High Volume Of Patient Inquiries And Appointments.
Knowledge Of Insurance Policies And Procedures, Including Verifying Coverage And Obtaining Prior Authorizations.
